Scorpion Vision Software version 4.0 will be released 3. June 2005

Scorpion Barcode and Scorpion MatrixCode are two new applications in the Scorpion Vision Software family of products. The products are a Scorpion Lite enhanced with Euresys EasyBarCode™ and EasyMatrixCode™ Reader modules.

New - Sony Scorpion Robot Vision Starter Kit - 4450 euro

Our close cooperation with Sony continues with the launch of a Robot Vision Starter Kit – contains everything you need for bringing your Scorpion Robot Vision project to life. The kit includes a Scorpion Enterprise license combined with the new high performance SONY XCD-V50 (CR) camera (VGA resolution) and a 2 days training course where you learn how to use Scorpion Vision Software. A standard and configurable user interface paired with innovative and easy-to-use and robust imaging tools quickly enable you to plan, implement and test complete robot vision systems ready to communicate with robots or PLCs. Scorpion works with robots from ABB, Motoman, Bosch Rexroth and more. Bring your own notebook to the training course and return to the production site with a framework well suited for your particular real-world application. No programming skills are required, but general engineering knowledge and modest experience with photography issues such as light assessment and lens manipulation will smooth the start up phase.

News - Sony Distributor in Norway for Desktop Robots and Firewire Cameras

We have been appointed distributor for Sony Firewire Cameras and Desktop Robots by Sony.

Sony Desktop Robot's winning combination of superior performance and compact size is redefining the meaning of production.

We are currently working to integrate the versatile and compact Sony Desktop Robots with Scorpion Vision Software - to enable users to implement sophisticated inspection systems with only standard components.

The Cast Pro II covers 350 x 350 mm with a precision of 0.02 mm - available in 2,3 and 4 axis version. The smaller Robokid covers an area of 250 x 210 mm.
