development of a plankton analysis instrument designed for buoy installation. Responsible
for system design and implementation of a embedded real-time system for instrument
control, data collection and transmission of data to shore. Also involved in hardware
specification and design. In addition responsible for a system design and implementation
of a Windows 32bit application for receiving of data and configuration of the instrument.
The embedded system was implemented in Symantec C++, some assembly and C. The Windows
application was implemented in Symantec C++ using Microsoft Foundation Classes, MFC.

a MMI Windows 16bit application for configuration and monitoring of the OCEANOR

Main activities:
- Implementation of the AUTRONICA PD-100 diesel engine
diagnostic system, an advanced Windows 16bit MMI application implemented in Borland Pascal
for Windows, Borland Paradox
database and ObjectWindows.
- Design and implementation of a Windows 16bit MMI
application for configuration, diagnostic and monitoring of the AUTRONICA Echelon field
bus system. Implemented in Borland Pascal for Windows, Borland Paradox database and
ObjectWindows
- Responsible for configuration and diagnostic tools for
the AUTRONICA microwave radar system GL-90 and cargo monitoring systems. A collection of
integrated MS-DOS applications communicating with the GL-90 and cargo system, implemented
in Professional BASIC, Turbo Pascal and C.
- Design and implementation of the AUTRONICA Berthing Aid
System GX-90. A real-time system implemented in TEXAS Instruments PASCAL for embedded
controllers. Also responsible for configuration and diagnostics tools (MS-DOS).
- Design and implementation of a high speed diesel engine
diagnostic instrument, a real-time system implemented in TEXAS Instruments PASCAL for
embedded controllers. The project also included low level drivers for an I2C instrument
bus on the embedded controller and configuration and diagnostics tools for MS-DOS.
- World wide travelling for short periods during the
employment for installation and service of the GL-90/Cargo system and berthing aid system,
in both marine and heavy industry environments.
