1993 Alcatel Telecom Norway AS; A4745 NMC. Working on the A4745 NMC development project using C++ and Solaris operating system. Developed an MS-Windows based demo program of the A4745 NMC for the sales departement.

1994 AUTRONICA AS; NX-200, NL-200. Developed an MS-Windows based prototype of the Berthing Aid System MMI (NX-200). Performed a feasibility study of Wonderware InTouch development tool and existing InTouch based Cargo Tank Monitoring System (NL-200) applications.

1995 AUTRONICA AS - Design and implementation of a complete Berthing Aid System MMI (NX-300) based on MS - Windows 3.1 / NT (16 bit application) using Borland C++ 4.5 and ObjectWindows 2.5.

1995 DETEC AS - Evaluating Windows NT Remote Access Service (RAS) for use in surveillance system with unmanned remote nodes.

1996 Kongsberg Simulation & Training AS - Developing Windows NT and Visual C++ based hardware interface system for use in digital sound recording and playback system (MRPB, MACS Record and Playback Board).

- ESA; IN ORBIT NDT. Joint project with DNV (Veritas). Development of system for detection of high velocity particle impacts with space station pressure chamber, and methods for (in orbit) characterization of defects.

- ESA; MDPS Study. Joint project with DNV (Veritas). Development of high resolution ultrasonic topology scanner for characterization of high velocity particle collision defects on space station pressure chamber.

- Acoustic Emission monitoring system, RAM (Robit Acoustic Monitor). Technical responsible for development.

- MSU (Mobile Sensor Unit). First generation battery-operated subsea data logger with high resolution LVDT sensors, accelerometers and inclinometers.

- DACOS Data Logger (DACOSDL); Project Leader and technical responsible for feasibility study and development of the second generation battery-operated subsea data logger. Based on the DACOS system with VMEbus hardware system and Microware OS-9 Multitasking Realtime operating system.

- ROV-operated Subsea Ultrasonic Scanner based on the DACOS system (DACOSUL). Wall thickness measurements on pipes and other structures at water depths inaccessible with normal diving operations.

- FPT (Flexible Pipe Technology) Project. Technical responsible for developing the Flexible Pipe Internal Inspection Module based on the DACOS system (DACOSEC) using EddyCurrent detection technology.

1986 - 1988 : Employed by MIROS AS.

- Project leader for research project sponsored by STATOIL to establish the statistical properties of the ocean surface parameters measured by the MIROS Wave Radar.

- MIROS Wave Radar control software development.

- Ocean wave data presentation system for IBM PC/AT.

- Ocean wave data handling and postprocessing system for IBM PC/AT.

1985 - 1986 : CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. RF Group, LEP Department.

Diplomawork on longitudinal coupled bunch instability problems in Large Electron Positron (LEP) accelerator.
